Broken line graphs
Broken line graphs, which show how an amount changes over time; reading values, the highest and lowest points, how much an amount rose or fell, and the period of biggest change; describing a trend such as rising steadily or rising then falling; comparing two lines on one graph; matching data to the right graph; and noticing how the vertical scale changes how big a change looks.
